ODOT is in the process of issuing a request for proposal to select a program manager for the administration of the logo sign program in Ohio.  During this brief transition time, ODOT will maintain existing installations (including making temporary repairs for knockdowns) and accept applications from businesses interested in participating in the program.  Interested businesses should review the eligibility requirements and submit an application form (available in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF versions).  If approved, ODOT will execute an advertising agreement with the business.  Limitations on new logo sign panel installations are as follows:

  1. A business that meets eligibility requirements where space is available on existing specific service signs will be approved to have their logo sign panels displayed.  It is the responsibility of the business to provide the logo sign panels for installation.  For information on logo sign panel fabrication, click here.  ODOT will install the panels once received.

  2.  A business that meets eligibility requirements but where no space is available on existing specific service signs will be put on a waiting list.  Once a new program manager is selected, modifications to existing specific service signs and/or the installation of new supports will be completed by the program manager as necessary for the display of the logo sign panels.

  3.  A business that meets eligibility requirements but where consent legislation is required from the local jurisdiction for the installation of trailblazer signs on local roads will be put on a waiting list.  The necessary legislation will be pursued once a new program manager is selected.

We apologize for these necessary limitations; however, it is expected that the length of time ODOT will operate the program will be brief.  Time consuming tasks such as pursuing consent legislation from local jurisdictions or the installation of new beam supports, by necessity, will need to be deferred until a new program manager is selected.
