Environmental Requirements

To qualify for SIB funding the following environmental criteria must be met:

For ease in completing the environmental requirements and ODOT pre-qualified consultant should be hired.

The project must be such that it does not require wetland mitigation. (Typically less than 1/3 acres of wetland impacts under the current CFR Title 33 Part 330)

Any stream impacts that would require an OEPA 401 Water Quality Certification are not permissible.

The project cannot have the taking of a historic property (listed or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places) and/or cannot have a direct impact to any Threatened and Endangered Species.
