Environmental Requirements

To qualify for SIB funding the following environmental criteria must be met:

  • For ease in completing the environmental requirements and ODOT pre-qualified consultant should be hired.

  • The project must be such that it does not require wetland mitigation. (Typically less than 1/3 acres of wetland impacts under the current CFR Title 33 Part 330)

  • Any stream impacts that would require an OEPA 401 Water Quality Certification are not permissible.

  • The project cannot have the taking of a historic property (listed or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places) and/or cannot have a direct impact to any Threatened and Endangered Species.
