Ohio Public Transit Conference and Trade Show

The Office of Transit and the Ohio Public Transit Association (OPTA) co-sponsor an annual conference and trade show for public transportation providers including all public transit systems, Ohio Coordination Program projects, human service agencies participating in the Specialized Transportation Program, and statewide coordination task force members.  Sessions are offered on a variety of topics to meet the interests of all participants.  The trade show offers an exhibition of vendors and equipment ranging from vehicles, vehicle seating and other equipment to software routing and scheduling packages.  Participants are encouraged to meet and talk with vendors and manufacturer representatives to gain knowledge as well as provide feedback on their products.  The conference in general is an excellent opportunity to gain new insights and skills as well as to network with peers and exchange ideas and best practices.

At this event, OPTA presents awards in a variety of categories.  The conference is generally held in the spring of each year.
