Pavement Management
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Ohio Department of Transportation Pavement Management Section
is to optimize the performance of the States highway system by collecting;
maintaining, and analyzing, pavement condition data used in highway management
decision making.
Objectives:
- Take every step to ensure the safety
of the public and our employees.
- To be the model for excellence in government by being fair and efficient,
honest, and maintaining a high standard of integrity and professionalism
in everything we do.
- To constantly seek the input of our employees and to seek ways to improve
their quality of work through options from work force development.
- To develop and maintain a top notch Pavement Management System.
- To constantly seek improvements to our operation through the
continual review of technological advancements in our area.
- To be proactive in seeking and understanding the needs of our
Department and the public.
- To seek ways to be responsive to the needs of the Planning, Design,
Operations, and Research Offices within the Department.
- To maintain a work ethic and environment we can take pride in.
